Crowd Funding the right way!

Ok, so I'm sure you have heard about crowdfunding before. If not, here's a brief run down:
Yourdictionary.com defines it simply as "To crowdfund is for a group of people to pool their money or resources over the Internet to fund a start-up or common interest." Very simply you post your idea/project/business online and get funding from many different sources in exchange for equity, products. or services.

Now, I myself am using crowd funding for my start-up cost in my business. I've used it before for Non-Profits, projects, and micro-businesses before. It's easy, effective, and a great tool if it's done right.

I did a lot of research on the subject before I started doing it for business. There is where it gets a little more tricky.  There are so many sites now that offer hosting for crowdfunding, so which is right for you and your needs? Eric Markowitz of Inc.com has this great tool for you to use! A simply flow chart to show you what site to use. I used it for my business endeavors and those of my clients, and it worked beautifully!
